My third hire of the pop-up shop at the National Trust property Lytes Cary Manor, Somerset was a collection of pottery continuing the inspiration of trees, leaves, seeds, flowers and plants. The theme: Woodland, a display of artwork including some ceramic pieces accompanied by a wooden plinth, box, tray or mat in the wood described in the decorative pattern on the clay. Watercolour paintings, linocut cards and etchings were also included following the success of the previous displays Inspired by Nature and the Land September 20th to October 6th and Midwinter November 14th November to 1st December 2024.
